Job description:
As a senior member of the network security team, you will participate in troubleshooting and implementing network security related items.
- You will manage and support the customer’s currently deployed network and network security configuration items and the underlying network or network security infrastructure.
- You will install, move, add and change the network security configuration according to specific demands.
- You will implement and change network security infrastructure components and rules in accordance with the customer’s policies.
- You will maintain, install upgrades, configure and fine-tune network security systems (including software and patches) and LAN network operating system software and hardware.
- You will investigate network security traffic flow problems as a result of an incident and you will investigate the network infrastructure when an incident occurs where route cause is not specified yet.
- You will maintain contacts with suppliers to resolve complex security-related issues.
- You will participate in analysis required to implement new or modified Network Security Services.
- You will provide level 2 and level 3 support for all network and security related incidents.
- You will provide pro-active network capacity and availability management.
Profile:
- You have at least 5 years experience in network security engineering.
- You have strong knowledge of the majority of the following products and services:
- Checkpoint Firewall
- Bluecoat SG
- Content Filtering
- Loadbalancing (F5 Big IP)
- Cisco Routing and Switching
- Knowledge of any additional security and network products (e.g., Juniper…) is a plus.
- You are a team player, able to work together in a team but also able to lead and motivate a team.
- You are fluent in English and you have a strong knowledge of Dutch and French.
